About the role
We are looking for a Deputy Manager to lead a team of dedicated multidisciplinary professionals within the Community Mental Health Service for Adults (CMHSA). Working closely with the Operational Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery and management of mental health services, ensuring high quality care, overseeing daily operations and leading a team of dedicated multidisciplinary professionals. You’ll also ensure that people have timely access to our services and receive treatment in line with our pathways.
You will need to have excellent relationship building and engagement skills and be capable of managing varied work demands based on the changing needs of the service. You'll be part of a supportive and collaborative work environment with professional development opportunities. Although the main duties of the role are to ensure the operational effectiveness of the team, you will still have the opportunity to involve yourself in direct clinical work, in line with the needs of the service.
You will have a direct impact on the future of the Island's community-based mental health care, operating within a recovery focused organisation to support its future development into the future.
