Salary £Competitive
Full Time 37.5hrs per week (4 days per week)
Shift Patterns: 8-6pm 9-7pm 10-8pm

We’re looking for a Senior Staff Nurse to join our Cancer Nursing Team at Private Care at Guy’s, one of our state-of-the art cancer centres and, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. Featuring theatres, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, oncology and surgical wards, and a four-bed intensive care unit we deliver a level of care rarely found in the private sector. A centre of excellence, we’re also constantly at the forefront of clinical innovation, whether that’s through our investment in pioneering robotic surgery, our JACIE accredited stem cell transplantation unit for blood cancers and Multiple Sclerosis or other treatments, such as revolutionary bispecific antibody therapy, which we’re currently the only private hospital able to offer.
As a Senior Staff Nurse working within the Day Care unit, you will provide expert, holistic care of a high standard to both patients receiving chemotherapy and their relatives in a safe and comfortable environment. You will have responsibility for ensuring high levels of customer service alongside your multi-disciplinary colleagues. You will utilise specialist skills including the administration Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapies (SACT), advanced communication and management of complex patients and support others towards the same.

What you’ll bring:
- Registered General Nurse with valid NMC pin
- Up to date knowledge and an experience on the administration of the SACT
- Skilled in Phlebotomy / Cannulation / Care of CVADs/ IV administration
