Full time 37.5 hours per week
Shift times: Monday – Saturday, earlies and lates  
Permanent

We’re looking for a Senior Theatre Practitioner - Recovery to join our Theatre at London Bridge hospital currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. The theatres across our facilities, provide a vibrant, exciting, and professional environment where the advance equipment and technology is second to none.

London Bridge Hospital  has 10 Operating theatres, and offers a wide range of surgeries from, Cardiac, Ortho, Liver, Neuro, Urology, Spinal and General. Successful candidates will be part of a large theatre team of colleagues, experienced professionals. With 160 beds, 28 ICU beds and 10 operating theatres we offer our patients exceptional treatment across a multitude of acute and complex care and have use of the latest technologies and healthcare innovations.

What you’ll bring:

  • Operating Department Practitioner/Registered Nurse qualified
  • 18 months post graduate experience in UK Theatres
  • To have strong knowledge and experience of the recovery unit with an excellent understanding of the perioperative needs of patients
  • To develop and maintain effective working relationships with Consultants and other health professionals and to ensure that prescribed treatment is carried out.
  • Participate fully as a team member in all areas of the theatre suite, sharing knowledge and information and supporting colleagues, to promote a cohesive team and the achievement of team objectives.
