Full time 37.5 hours per week
Shift patterns: Monday to Saturday - 07.30 to 18:00, 10:00 to 20:00 or 12:00 to 21:00 (operating times are 06:00 – 21:00)

We’re looking for an Senior Scrub Theatre Practitioner to join the team at The Wilmslow Hospital, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. Dedicated to delivering world-class healthcare, the hospital is equipped with the latest, cutting edge technology and packed with a team of experienced nurses and consultants – all working in a vibrant, modern setting that puts patients and colleagues at ease.

Covering a wide range of surgical specialties, you can expect variety in your day and exposure to a range of different patient cases. Coupled with support to develop through our comprehensive learning programmes and more time to care you can maintain a healthy work-life balance and achieve the best, for your patients and your career.

The Wilmslow Hospital covers a wide variety of surgical procedures including Gastroenterology, ENT, haematology, urology, plastic surgery, orthopaedic care and gynaecology.

You will actively participate as a member of a team to move the team towards completion of tasks, goals, and objectives; demonstrate leadership and influence others to be the best they can be and inspire our colleagues and patients; and deliver information in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to effectively engage others and achieve desired results

What you’ll bring:

  • Operating Department Practitioner/Registered Nurse qualified

  • Post graduate experience in Theatres

  • Current HCPC/NMC Registration

  • Scrub experience

  • Advanced Life Support (desirable)
