£34,100 - £37,793 + 9% shift enhancement

We’re looking for a dynamic and committed Staff Nurse to join our Cancer Nursing Team at HCA at UCH currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC and one of our specialist cancer centres. As specialists in blood disorders and cancer we’re continually at the forefront of clinical innovation. And you could be too. Our continued investment allows us to offer the very latest treatments, from our JACIE accredited bone marrow/stem cell transplant service to our newly developed CART T-cell therapy programme which is revolutionising the care we’re able to provide.
As a Staff Nurse working on our haematology/oncology ward, you will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of specialist care to ensure that our patients are cared for in a safe, compassionate and comfortable environment. This will include meeting physical, psychological and spiritual needs by effectively communicating with the patient, their families and your colleagues.

We will support you to develop your knowledge and skills in haematology-oncology specialist nursing, which includes being trained to administer the Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatments (SACT), stem cell administration and various new anti-cancer treatments. - Experience in an acute nursing environment within a hospital
- Post registration experience within haematology or oncology setting desirable
