Role: Staff Nurse -Orthopaedics
Town / Site: London: The London Bridge Hospital
Full time: 37.5 hours per week
Shift times: Monday –Sunday (flexibility required to work long days, nights and Weekends)
Permanent contract
Salary: £34,014-£37,794 (DOE) plus 9% shift allowance
We’re looking for a Staff Nurse to join the Orthopaedics Team at The London Bridge Hospital, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.
As a Staff Nurse in our Orthopaedics unit, you will be able to develop your existing experience while also having the opportunity to deal with a variety of different cases not usually seen on an Orthopaedic ward.
As the Staff Nurse within the Orthopaedics department, you will be required to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of nursing care to patients within a safe, caring and comfortable environment. You will work within the team, supervising and directing junior staff
The Unit is based on the 2nd floor at london Bridge Hospital, this is a 29 beddded unit and as a member of staff the following opportunities will be available to you:
Ortho and neuro course available after 1 year of continuous service
Opportunity to mentor nursing students mainly from BPP university and University of Hertfordshire
Opportunity to observe Ortho, Spine and Neuro cases in theatre including Robotics

With 160 beds, 22 ICU beds and 10 operating theatres we offer our patients exceptional treatment across a multitude of acute and complex care and have use of the latest technologies and healthcare innovations

NMC Registration and PREP requirements
ENB course/experience relevant to an Orthopaedic environment
