Required from September 2022

Kensington Prep School are seeking to appoint a part-time, term time only School Nurse to work closely with our pastoral and safeguarding team and manage the health and medical needs of our pupils.

From when the girls join the school to when they leave, the School Nurse will be involved in ensuring we have up to date information and provision for any medical or health needs they might have, including dietary allergies. You will liaise with parents to ensure care plans are accurate and up to date and with all staff and third parties including catering, to ensure we are aware of any needs.

You will work closely with the safeguarding team and will be trained to Level 3 (we can arrange for this).

You will hold an appropriate nursing qualification – RN (Child) on either part 8 or 15 of the NMC register or RN (Adult) part 1 with considerable post-registration experience. An awareness of current developments in school nursing services, primary care and health promotion and of health needs of the school aged population is also required.
